I am responding to this forum and perhaps I can spark some interest...I was talking to my sister the other day, and we were discussing 'natural witches'...as we feel we are. In other words, born that way...we discussed that you don't have to be in Wicca to be a wtich...some people are born with the traits and powers naturally... I was reading the article about honing in on your 'natural' abilities. As a I child I can remember being involved with a couple of supernatural happenings very young...apparitions twice before I was even in the first grade. Going to a Catholic school, I was taught to believe supernatural things such as ghosts and ESP were mortal sins and not to believe in it....It was their teachings I never believed in... I couldn't understand how something so natural to me, could be a sin. We grew up with a very religious dominant mother...who I believe all her life supressed her natural talents..because she was under the estimation it was a sin. My sister, neice and I all share a 'connection'. There are things we just know... Once we all got together at my home, and we all had blue toenail polish on...different shades, yet all blue. My husband took a photo of it because he couldn't believe it...
Several times when my sister and I go out together for something, we will be dressed in like clothing...once both of us all in denim...even similiar jewlery...once she was all in white and I was all in black. We buy the same clothes at different times, usually in different colors! We have always been very close..the instances of this type of thing is commonstance with us. We do ritual work, but we send our prayers, pleas and blessings out into the Universe. And wait on the Universe to answer. Our ESP powers are usually right on...I know when something bad is about to happen, and just recently predicted my neices baby will be a boy...no ultrasounds yet...but when she said she was pregnant again...my mind showed me a darling little boy sitting on the floor playing with a blue toy...and dressed in blue...we will see...but I am certain she has a boy. My husband had bought a house before we were married, that had been abandoned for years...the house was built in 1860...it had no windows even in it..and animals were living in it when he bought it...he had it five years before we were married..and was living in it pretty much the way it was but with windows and stoves for heat. The minute I moved in and we started working on the inside...it was like a door opened to the spirit world...we had all sorts of things going on and we were not the only ones busy in this house...my husband said nothing like that happened in the five years he owned the house - after being here 25 years now...we still occasionally have a happening. Others have see things in our house also..so it's not just our imaginations....I am not a Wiccan..but I am certainly a Witch. How many of you feel this way? How many out there are 'natural witches'...??

Your writing was interesting.
I believe one CAN be born a Witch. A natural - nagging thought - like " I've done this before "
I believe you can be drawn to Witchcraft but you 'need' to study, and learn in the Craft.
I also believe it can be both.
Just because I was born the third girl after my two older sisters - and my mother was the third girl born in her line -
This does NOT make me a "natural" Witch-or a given. Thats for T.V.
I know a LOT of people who have had supernatural things happen to them (like a dead love one visiting them on a special day)
yet they simply take it at face value, and think nothing more of it - or will not make any connection to ghosts / paranormal -
( subconscious or conscious ) - because of other religious views or some other reason.
My older sister can see ora's around people - but she does not dare tell a soul in fear people will think she is 'crazy' -
I can't do that but I believe she can.
I believe if 'christians' can believe in a man no one has seen or a book may men have written - Go For It !
I believe, like in ALL religions, belief is the key. If we believe in us, ( as it harms no one ) GO FOR IT !
JOZARA - I believe your house, like mine, is haunted. I believe in all that you say because I believe.
You and only you need to prove (self) validation - through experience, knowledge, acceptance, and trust.
I believe in your close connection to your sister. Often I dream of my mother ( who disconnected herself from us because of our belief )
